Things i can do to get over her and that will help me
This is always a difficult process, unfortunately one that I’m well versed in. Since you say "broken heart" I’m assuming you still had strong feelings for her when things ended, so you have to first remove everything in your life that reminds you of her. Pictures, gifts, music, books, text messages, and anything else you might see that would make you think of her. There is nothing you can do that’s going to allow you to get over it overnight, so you need to limit your misery while your heart heals. Time is the only thing that will mend a broken heart. Removing memories of her will help during this time. Next, try to spend a lot of time with people. Don’t stay at home, because that will just lead to deep thought where you will inevitably end up thinking about her and possibly breaking down. Go out with your friends (not a strip club). Go bowling, go to a baseball game, just do normal things. During this time you’re going to feel like you’re never going to find true love again, like she was the only one that could ever make you happy, but trust me, you will find someone. There’s someone out there for you, and if this girl broke your heart, then she isn’t that person. Time my friend.

This is not for me but for one of my close friends who found out her boyfriend was seeing other girls behind her back. She’s isolated herself at the moment and I, with other friends, want to cheer her up but we don’t know what to do or say to make her happy again. Any advice?Thanks!
