I hope that I am not violating any codes/rules but I am a University student who is doing a research paper on relationships, more specifically getting back together with an ex. I was wondering if anyone was willing to answer some questions?
-Has anyone had a long term relationship (over 1.5 years), broken up with their partner then gotten back together with them? What were the circumstances? Who initiated the breakup? Who initiated the reconciliation? How long after the breakup did you get back together? How long did the relationship last after?
-Do you believe that on again off again relationships can work? Why/why not? Do you know of anyone who has gotten back together with an ex and had a long healthy relationship with them?
-Have you ever bought books/videos/material (such as found at www.win-the-ex-back-now.com) to try to get an ex back? What material did you use? Did you find it helpful?
Did it work?
-Do you feel that break-ups are often caused by a lack of commitment (eg when the going gets tough the tough get going?)

ok iv been married for 10 yrs my husband and i have broken up and got back together a few times 2 times was really bad ,but we got back together ,its hard to be in a relationship like that because the 2 people dos alot of stuff to each other and some thing u want and cant forget, if the 2 people knows or thinks its not going to work then i think from my experience is to just stay apart and find some 1 to be happy with and not have a off and on relationship most likely its not going to work out because if u 2 are meant for each other then u 2 wouldn’t have had the first brake up to begging with i think
