I had a hard childhood and it’s affected me a lot so I drink a lot. Ever since I failed medicine and pharmacy iv been really lost and hurt. And today my girlfriend left me because she said that she has had enough with me drinking and being depressed all the time. Is there anyway I canget get back? I don’t think I am strong enough to handle another heartbreak at the moment.
First you have to be able to accept that you have been drinking too much and cut down or eliminate the drink because it is now affecting your relationships. If you can’t be sure you can do this then don’t bother trying to get her back. Once you’ve accepted you can do this then tell her you want another chance and that you will do the best you can to change your attitude towards life and that you will try to be more positive and that it would break your heart to see her go. If you can’t change for her and be a better person for her then she deserves better. If you know you can’t change don’t waste her time because it will just hurt her even more. Just try to have a better outlook on life and try to find a future that suits you and shoot for it. Everyone fails sometimes don’t let it ruin your life just keep on moving.
