How do I get her back?
July 22, 2010 | 5 Comments
She is moving and I am still busy with school, so we broke up. We are still on good terms, and absolutely love each other. She asked if I would get involved with anyone else, and since I said it’s hard to know what will happen, she doesn’t want to speak to me or see me any more. She says if I’m going to be with other people she cant deal with that pain. How do I convince her that she is the one, and that I can wait till we are both ready?
you are a typical stupid man for opening your big fat mouth. you should have said "i will never be able to date again after being with my dream woman, which is you, my sweet sweet love. alas, we must part but together we shall be in the sunset groping each others bums." then you screw around on her and all is well that ends well.

Every morning, my Chihuahua will come up to the bed and try to play. She’ll sniff my face, gently chew my ears and lightly paw at my face to try and get me out of bed. When I mess around and sniff her around the face and neck, like a dog, she rolls on her back and looks at me as if she’s waiting for me to finish LOL
Does anybody know why?
Rolling onto her back is a sign of submission.
She’s saying, "I trust you enough to expose my vulnerable underside to you".

Nirvana – Polly
Polly wants a cracker
Think I should get off her first
I think she wants some water
To put out the blow torch
Isn’t me
Haven’t seen (have a seed)
Let me clip
Your dirty wings
Let me take a ride
Cut yourself (don’t hurt yourself)
Want some help
Please myself
I’ve got some rope
You have been told
I promise you
I have been true
Let me take a ride
Don’t hurt yourself
I want some help
Help myself
Polly wants a cracker
Maybe she would like more food
She asked me to untie her
A chase would be nice for a few
Polly says her back hurts
And she’s just as bored as me
She caught me off my guard
Amazes me, the will of instinct

July 14, 2010 | 9 Comments
My mare drags her back feet when i ride her in the arena for some reason. She isn’t in any pain. She only does it when doing dressage/flat work, not when she is out on trails…
Also her neck seems quite stiff, especially on one side.
Your mare may be dragging her back feet in the arena because she is not working actively with her back end. This is a very common problem! To correct this, you need to ride her much more strongly forward with your legs, to the bit. The reason it doesn’t seem to be such a problem when she is out on trails could be that she finds that much more interesting and not such hard work! You can use trotting poles and/or caveletti in the arena to encourage her to pick up her legs, but there really is no substitute for getting her going nicely forward in the first place. As well as using your legs correctly in walk and trot, do some canter work. This often "wakes the horse up" a bit. You will also find that canter work improves the quality of the trot. And don’t forget – if your mare goes straight from the stable to the arena, she may be stiff from not being able to move around like she does in the paddock or field. If you can take her out somewhere to loosen up before you ride her in the arena, do. Otherwise, get her marching nicely forward with a long rein so that she isn’t feeling stiff and reluctant! Regarding her "stiff neck" look up "carrot stretches" on the internet for suppling her neck when you are on the ground. Make sure that her teeth are OK (not sharp and hurting the inside of her cheek that side) and also that the tack fits properly. Work on circles and turns in the arena to supple her, making sure that you are asking correctly for the bend through her body. Be patient and persevere and I am sure you will succeed. Do ask a good instructor for support if you don’t feel that you are getting anywhere.
