Is it ok to still talk to your ex who you have no intentions on getting back with?

My new boyfriend gets really mad when I talk to him but sometimes I really need to talk to him about stuff so is it a bad thing should I stop or…..
It really is no problem unless you want your boyfriend to stay with you and not look elsewhere. I mean face it, no one wants their so to be with their past lover. No guy is going to be disrespected like that and told that an ex is more important than his feelings and relationship with you.
So, yep it’s perfectly fine to talk to an ex if you don’t value your bf.

Not just where you know that it was meant to be. I mean when it seemed as though you two wouldnt get back together ever again. I just got my ex bf back after 2 years and its so perfect I never thought we would date again i simply let him go and time really flew by.
well right now im just clean out of a relationship which is something i really didnt want but im trying not to care and maybe someday well get back together if she comes to her senses but its up to her i think its really a matter of that " let the one you love go if they come back they were always yours if they dont they never were" kind of thing but congratulations your one of the lucky ones good luck that you dont break up again

Here’s my situation: my girl friend and i are still interested in each other because we’ve told each other so. Turns out that we still love each other too. How does one approach the subject of getting back together with your former girlfriend? Like what do you actually talk about?
heres what I would say:
I have been thinking lately and seeing how we both still have feelings for each other maybe we should try again. We don’t have to start off where we left off we can take it slow and see where it goes. All I know is I wanna be with you and I think we should try again.

we dated for a little over a year and were best friends for 2, and our break up was hard on the both of us…..a year later now, i dont think about her everyday like i used to and im over her….but recently we’ve been talking as friends again, and i dont think id want to get back with her…but the way i loved her almost tells me i should find out…we talk maybe once a week, and like i took her to see our favorite band about a week ago….so what is the most un awkward way to talk to her about what she thinks is possible or could happen again? this is not an attempt for me to get back, just to see what she thinks and maybe we’d find the love again..who knows
I would tell her how you’re feeling and see what she says! You don’t have much to lose here. Just be cautious about how you say it so that you don’t wreck the friendship (in other words, keep it somewhat light sounding).

Winning back an ex is a very difficult thing to do. It is a lot easier to generate feelings in someone, than it is to change their feelings. But if you take the right steps, and more importantly don’t do the wrong things, your chances increase dramatically.
Here are few steps that helped me to get my ex girlfriend back:
Don’t Ask Her To Get Back Together
You should never ask your ex girlfriend to get back together. Why? Simple, because her answer will be NO!
You’re only shot at getting your ex girlfriend back is to follow the right steps that will make her ask you to get back together. Maybe if you broke up with her, then you might be able to be the one who brings up the subject of getting back together. But if you can do it without, it would be much better.
But how do you get someone back without seeming desperate? In order to get your ex girlfriend attention, you have to show value without telegraphing your interest in her, while at the same time initiating interaction.
So don’t ignore your ex texts and calls when they break up with you. It screams that you are so devastated by the breakup that you can’t even handle talking to her. You want to respond to her, but do it in the right way. You can even initiate communication if you do it in the right way.
You have to maintain a strong frame of confidence, and show her that your happiness isn’t dependent on being with her.
Being Jealous Is Not The Way To Go
Listen to me …SHE IS GONNA DATE SOMEONE ELSE. Let that sink in good. And not only is she gonna date someone else, it can easily be someone you know, maybe even one of your friends. Tough to swallow I know. It’s ok if it bothers you, but don’t let it show and don’t call her out on it. Remember, you are not together anymore, and you don’t have any right to tell her what to do.
If you do want to win her back, then you just have to weigh the decision.
Be Flexible
Do not be that stereotypical angry ex. Do not throw out their stuff or demand for them to come pick up their stuff right now. Rather be flexible, easy-going and understanding. A person who doesn’t take things too seriously is an attractive quality in itself. It may inspire your ex girlfriend to start communicating with you again faster then you might think.
